You can always use purge conditions with martyr, same effect and not limited to the MM build

Tbh the effects of Martyr just give you all the more reason to carry Mend Ailment with you. Getting rid of all the conditions onto a minion would be a helpful combo though, specially for PvE. Could be built into an MF build maybe for PvP? Although Veratis Sacrifice would negate Infuse Condition completely.
The only thing i can think of would be bringing Martyr on 1 person. Then maybe a necro using Plague Signet and Draw Conditions to quickly give them everything? (not actually sure whether Draw is 1 or all, haven't used it)

It is a nice idea.. thinking outside of the box is plenty of fun. As using the normal cookie-cutter MM build gets dry at times. Although, I do not think using the elite slot for Martyr is worth it, as you would have to replace something else for it. Good catch though, because Martyr is not attribute based.. meaning you can spend attributes elsewhere.
I think when using Verata's Sacrifice the conditions your minions are suffering are put on you and infuse condition would place it back.

Well.. the other part about that is using Martyr to decrease the fuse time in a minion bomber. I mean, if you use Animate bone minions and your'e just animating htem as portable bombs....
Infuse Condition
Dark Bond
Martyr
Animate Bone Minions
Death Nova
Using that would be a decent skill set to keep the minions on a degen. Or... you could use verata's sacrifice if more than one minion is suffering a condition, then use Infuse contidion to bounce it back. This way if you have multiple minions suffering from it, you could transfer the condition to a single minion instead.
It's heavier on infuse condition, but I'm considering ways to avoid taking conditions upon myself as a necro while still dealing damage or being effective.
Oops... didn't read D'Arcangelo's post until after I posted.. but same idea... in part

Here's an idea I've always wanted to try - might be more useful in PvP but who knows...
Step1: Monk uses Martyr
Step2: Necro uses Draw Conditions
Step3: Mesmer calls Target and casts Fevered Dreams
Step4: Necro uses Plague Signet to send all condions to target.
Voila - transfer all conditions on your party to all of the opponents (in the area). The recharges match up nicely - all 10 sec. Of course you would follow up by hitting target with Phantom Pain/Shater Del, Blinding Flash, Poision arrow etc...
Of course you would probably need voice communicaton to coordinate this properly .. but thats a given in PvP anyway...

Ive seen this before. It's like a funny game of football when conditions are thrown all over the place. And of course, the obvious counter to this build, is it's own build again.

weakness in gvg = not enough corpses
weakness in arena = not enough corpses
weakness in PvE = minion will be target first if they got lower armor/hp
weakness overall = it takes too much time to prepare for something that is so easily spreadable
suggestion - make a build that offer weak pet, to make corpses. Use the MM more than just for the defense.

That's pretty cool, I must say. Do that mean teams really spam conditions in HA/GvG?
Also, couldn't you either have a M/N with Plague Signet or an N/M with Martyr?

How about Step 5...
Mesmer Hits that target with epidemic.
If you think about it, so long as the conditions haven't been too long, you can put a degen on several enemies.

Uh, that target already has Fevered Dreams - meaning all conditions are already spread to all foes 'in the area'
As an aside, IMO the range of epidemic (adjacent) makes it useless....

In HA some teams spam alot of conditions. And in GvG there is bllindness, weakenss, cripple, and deep wounds all over the place.
Of course condition removal is very easy to come by (especially in HA where there is always a Restore or Martyr monk) so this build probably sounds alot cooler than it would actually be.

The three key skills - Martyr, Plague Signet, and Fevered Dreams - are all elites so they have to be on different players.
Furthermore, the Necro (with Plague Signet) must also have Draw conditions so he must be N/Mo. For the others the primary/secondary doesn't matter.

My bad... I forgot what Fevered Dreams does.
I have a mesmer, but I never pay attention to more than necro skills.
